Help! Cake Topper: Navy Sailor

Brittany, on January 21, 2012 at 10:34 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13

My fiance is in the Navy, and he'll be wearing his dress whites at our wedding. I'm having a really hard time finding cake toppers that don't have the groom in a tux, and that aren't unreasonably priced. I also like the "sailor kiss" cake toppers but I wouldn't want the bride to be in the nurse's uniform. If you guys have any links or ideas I would greatly appreciate them. Also, I do not like the clay figurine ones. TIA.

    Really old school but heres:

    Personalized and probably expensive:

You can do a photo on top of the cake where he's in the uniform:

I'm Bumping this for you, sissy! She found this that she liked, except the groom is in a tux (and hers wouldn't be). Also, many of the navy toppers we've found have had the officers uniform. Brittany's FH would be wearing the dress whites that are shown in her profile pic. Thanks ladies for all of your help!

I think this is probably the same link Audra posted. It says the groom can have the white sailor uniform instead of the blue. We ordered our customized topper from them and are really happy with it!

It's possible you can by them separate. A groom sailor and a regular bride. Expensive but if that's what you want Smiley smile

Sure no problem Ours was a firefighter though, not a sailor but we got to choose the color of the uniform, the color of the stripes, name on the jacket, fire dept initials on the hat and some of the colors, etc on the bride. The bride has long sleeves where as mine is strapless but that was something I had to accept since this was the closest I could get to what I wanted.

I just did a quick Google search and found these:

    http://www.militarycaketoppers.com/

When my cousin was married (to a marine) the cake decorator printed a decal directly onto the cake and just put flowers onto the top of the cake.
