Help!! Does my veil and dress color match??

You can't tell. I have an ivory dress and have a white veil and you cant tell when it's on you

Close enough. It is supposed to be a shade lighter than the dress, and thus separate not just blending in. And with an ivory or creamy tint to a dress , any skin color takes on a yellowish tint if the veil is not more white in tone ( especially under fluorescent lights.). You did well with that choice of veil.

My husband just came down from bedtime with the little ones, said, what are you smiling about. And I said, a B to B who did not get her veil at the same time as her dress, so no sales person told her veils are supposed to be more pure white than an ivory gown. She chose correctly, she just does not realize it. And he said, even I know that. My oldest sister went all over NYC to get an exact match to her ivory dress, and my grandmother tells her, the veil is supposed to be an ethereal mist over your face and gown. That looks like SMOG. Take it back!
