Help - Engagement Outfit!!

Wow that sounds very pretty. I just looked online and searched “engagement pictures in a sunflower field” and there are some gorgeous ideas. White or a blue would be pretty but definitely a solid color. All of the flowers will give a lot of color. Check out online. Good luck.

It would depend if you want to do casual or more formal looking photos. You definitely want to be comfortable as you are taking the photos. My fh and I did a combo of both looks. We took our photos outside as well. These are two that show the different backdrops and one casual clothes photo.

I always recommend wearing white at some point during your engagement shoot, just to feel bridal! I'm going to wear a white floral dress and we're also doing an outfit change into something more casual. I would also recommend solids for you, as the background will be so busy with all the flowers!

If you’re getting them done in the evening, see if your photographer can get a silhouette shot. We don’t have our official pictures yet, but I snagged this off of their Instagram story from our shoot.

As far as clothes go, maybe a long chiffon skirt and top? I’m always a fan of flowy for engagement sessions.

I ordered mine off Amazon for $20! I like a flowing look personally but it’s whatever you’re comfortable with! I actually NEVER wear dresses but I figured a flowing dress fit best with our beach theme!

Have you decided if you want to have a casual look, or more formal? You could totally do an outfit change and do both if you wanted!

It's important that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing too.

Since your photos will be in a beautiful sunflower field, I definitely think that a block color would work best. Do you like to wear bright colors, or do you usually wear neutrals?
