I don't know what to do! My wedding isn't until July so I have time. I of course fell in love with tall baby's breath centerpieces found in the depths of Pinterest. I love how they look and figured they would be the least expensive option as I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers. I have been emailing florist about pricing and each have told me the smell may be overpowering in a reception setting. I really had my heart set on them insert crying emoji) . So I am looking for alternatives that will give me a similar look! Thank you! (I do not want to DIY anything as I know myself and don't want to stress myself out)

Has anyone done fake flowers for centerpieces? Can they be just as expensive if I want the centerpieces on the bigger side?

Has anyone used hydrangeas? Orchids?

    How unique and really pretty!

I can't comment on the scent, but could you add some other flowers that would "overpower" the scent your florist is talking about? Like this:

Or if you're just over the idea of baby's breath hydrangeas really are pretty:

I suspect hydrangeas are more than baby's breath, but I'm not sure.

That said, I was told that the garland/ greenery idea that's in now is less than hydrangeas. Here's a cool tall version you could mix with lower garland:

Sorry if that's completely off base and not your style!

The first one is everything!!!! I love it. If I completely forgo the babys breath I think that would be the next look! I am not a fan of just greenery but I do appreciate all of your suggestions and I think you hit it on the head with the mix of hydrangeas and babys breath! THANK YOU!

I'm not getting married until next year but I'm thinking of doing small/medium centerpieces.

Hi Jazmine! How goes your centerpiece adventure? Have you settled on what flowers you're going to have?
