Help!! Hair and makeup

We started hair and makeup at 8 AM and had to be done by 2 PM. I had 9 people for which included two flower girls and my grandmother who only got a blow out. I had 5 people for makeup which included two flower girls.

We’re starting hair and makeup at 9am and have to be ready by 1pm. We’ll have me, two mothers and 4 girls all getting hair and makeup.

See if you can get into the bridal suite earlier, that’s what we’re doing. Of course we had to pay for it but it just worked out better doing it that way. Besides myself I have 7 bridesmaids, 2 Moms and a flower girl getting hair and makeup done. We have 2 girls applying makeup and 2 for hair. Starting at 7:30am and will be done by 11:30 to head to the venue.

You may want to consider nixing the first look. I'm not doing one, because I didn't want to wake up before 9am

Also, how many hair/makeup artists will you have? If you have at least 4 artists, you could plausibly finish on-time (although not likely).

When you say “get ready” in 2 hours, does that just include getting dressed? If so, then 2 hours is more than enough time to put on dresses. Or is hair/makeup and dressing supposed to take place in 2 hours. If that’s the case, then there’s definitely not enough time unless you have multiple artists.

We (12 of us) are getting our hair and makeup done at a salon at 9am and will be out around 12. We are then heading to my house to “get ready” (aka throw the dresses on 😂) and get to the church by 2:00. Our first look is planned for 2:15 with the ceremony beginning at 3:00. I wonder why your photographer needs 3 hours for the first look?? Is everything right in the same area?Starting in the morning, I will have one photographer with me and my fiancé will have the other with him. We are using the church courtyard for our first look (weather-permitting 🤞🏻) which is obviously connected to the church haha. I can’t imagine it will be more than 15 minutes then we are planning to get some pictures of us and a few of the wedding party together in the half hour that’s left before the ceremony to cut down on pictures after the wedding so we can attend at least some of our cocktail hour! Maybe I’m being crazy thinking we can do all of that in 45 minutes?? Haha who knows! I’d ask your photographer if any later would work! Good luck!!

We are not allowed at the venue until 11am the day of the wedding. We are getting our hair & makeup done at the hotel we’re staying at, near the venue. Once we’re ready & we’ll meet our photographer at the venue and take our “getting ready” pics in the bridal suite at the venue.
Getting ready pics aren’t that important to me, but our photographer assured us that we’d be able to get some at the venue bridal suite.
We’ll be doing our first look at 1/1:30 pm with a ceremony starting at 3 pm.

I would definitely ask and see if you can get in earlier. I just called 2 days ago to book my hair and makeup. The girls and I are going to a salon because the girl that I really want to do my hair said it would be better that way (more hands on deck, all the supplies at the ready so they don't have to worry about forgetting anything, etc.) Anyway, I only have 4 bridesmaids, so 5 total including me. I was told there will be 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists and they only booked us for 2 hours, and think we may end up done in less than the 2 hours. You have almost twice as many people so I would hate to see you all being rushed and not have an enjoyable, relaxing morning.

We are starting hair and makeup at 1pm, photographer arrives at 4pm for getting ready shots and whatnot, and the ceremony starts at 530pm.

We started hair and makeup at 9am and were getting final touchups at 3:15pm. There were 7 girls (including myself) getting services. We did our first look at 4pm and my ceremony was at 5:30pm. Any chance you can push your ceremony time back?

We started getting ready at 10AM for our 5PM ceremony, and we didn't do a first look. We planned to be ready by 4 PM. We had 13 women getting ready, so we hired 4 artists.

The first two artists were included, each additional artist was $200. There were 13 adults total and one flower girl and these are the services we had done:
