Help ! Has anyone gone or is going though this ?

Omg yes! I had to have reconstructive hip surgery and I was on a walker for 3 months, then crutches for another 4 mos. and even after I got off the crutches, I still wasn’t able to do almost anything for several months. I binge watched every even slightly appealing show on Netflix & I read a ton of books. Lots of FaceTime calls with friends. A lot of social media. And waaaaaay too many things ordered from Amazon. I also had physical therapy, which kept me busy for a couple hours per day. I will admit, I was the take-out queen prior to surgery, but started preparing most my meals during recovery (better quality food= Quicker healing and more time spent busy doing things). There are also chair cardio workout videos on YouTube for people with hip, knee and ankle injuries!

I lost my job 3 months prior to our wedding. It was very strssful, but thankfully I found a new job within a month. This was last year prior to Covid. However, I lost my job at the beginning of Covid and have been unemployed since May. Finding a new job has been incredibly difficult especially because I'm also pregnant and limited on what I can do.
