Help! i am trying to brainstorm ways to make the boob area more secure in this dress.

It looks good from the photo. What seems to be the issue?

What does the back look like?

Both of my wedding dresses are impossible to wear a bra with, so I'm resorting to nipple covers and boob tape!

You could wear one of the low back bras or bodysuit style undergarments, but I don't think they are the most comfortable. If cups were added to the dress would that give you enough support? The back/dress seems structured enough that I would just go that route and not have to deal with pesky undergarments.

Have any other alterations been done yet? Often the tailor will shorten the straps, and it looks like you might have a smidge of space to take in the bodice in the breast area (hard to tell from the photos). Once fitted, you might find it more secure than you think.

I would mention it to your tailor, and you should also be sure to buy and try whatever undergarments you plan to wear during your fitting, just to make sure it all works.

For what its worth, my dress is lower in the front and back and has illusion lace with modesty cups and I felt comfortable enough just using silicone cutlets or nipple covers and tape. I didn't want to risk undergarments showing or to feel hot or uncomfortable because I was wearing them. We eloped last year and I felt really comfortable in it. We didn't do our full reception but I wore my dress for a few hours and I think it would have been fine for dancing all night, as long as the playlist wasn't Cotton Eyed Joe and Jump Around on repeat. I am planning to wear the same this year and use boob tape for my reception dress (had to get a second dress because my first dress is a bit too snug for dancing in now). Again, not quite the level of support I'd want for running a 5k but adequate for partying all night! There is always going to be a bit of a compromise between support, comfort, and aesthetics and its just a matter of what balance feels most appropriate to you.
