Help!! March or April Wedding Orlando Area

Victoria, on January 9, 2020 at 12:58 AM Posted in Florida Planning 0 2
Hi! I’m stumped on what to do. And, I do realize Florida is unpredictable but March or April for a wedding that is partially outdoors? I’m not worried about the cold as much as the rain. The good old “Florida rain” debate. I asked friends and I received a mixed bag with April showers but then recently, more people saying March showers. Then, a flip with the opposite. Ugh!

Maybe I should just change it to all indoor and save me the worry? Nevertheless, I still wanted to get opinions here for more recent weather patterns.
I think we would choose March 22nd ish or at latest April 22nd if that helps. We don’t want it scorching hot. I’m even thinking late February now but that actually may be too cold.

We are doing late February because we are afraid of the rain and of super hot temps! But if you are choosing between March and April, I’d say March is safer

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Victoria.
It definitely is difficult trying to pick a date in an area that experiences rain. My best advice is to plan for rain, that way you won’t be disappointed if it does Smiley smile If you decide to have an outdoor wedding, simply have a plan B in case of a rainy day. When checking out venues, make sure you love the indoor backup spaces just as much in case you need to move everything indoors.
