The dress with sleeves - this is the vibe I imagined for my wedding dress. It’s ethereal, fairytale, matches my Pinterest board and my woodland venue. We added straps and sleeves from another dress, so it’s a little photoshopped now to make that impression more clear. It also happens to be on sale, the last one of its kind, and in my size. The lady in the shop said it was just waiting for me to come along! Needs a little adjustment as it’s not totally comfortable yet, but adding straps will help me feel supported so that I can stand taller.
The dress without sleeves - I tried this one after the shop assistance chose it. I never would have thought to put it on. But I was so surprised how comfortable it was and how beautiful I felt in it. It makes me stand tall. It doesn’t match the wedding vibe I was going for - it’s more “Hollywood glam” than “ethereal”. I love it but I hope I don’t miss out of my vision and something more unique in the first dress.
I am well known in my local wedding industry, so I feel there will be a lot of eyes on my photos after the wedding.
I love both dresses for different reasons! I’m so torn! I might have to keep shopping if I’m this torn.
Note: Both are ivory. I’m not wearing tan in either dress (just different lighting in two different stores)
