Hi. I’m looking at July 6 2024 event. I am just not sure what’s a good price or what’s me being ripped off etc. what is the average for things?

The average cost for each category is going to wildly vary, depending on the area you're getting married in. If you haven't yet made a budget, determine your estimated guest count and the max that you want to spend on each part of your wedding. Be sure to also factor in gratuity, service charges, taxes, etc. From there, start searching for vendors and venues that are within your budget! Also check out non-traditional wedding venues, which are often cheaper. Facebook groups for local weddings are also useful for finding vendors in your budget. Put a post in that group with your wedding date, what you're specifically looking for, and your budget, and you should get responses from available vendors.

So the pricing is really going to vary depending on location, time of year, number of guests, etc. The best option is going to be to research vendors in your area to get an idea of what things will cost. The first two things you will want to decide are your guest list and budget. Then you'll want to find a venue that can accommodate your total guest count and is within your budget. From there you'd book major vendors and so forth.

Great advice already posted, but I just wanted to agree on the fact that with how much price varies by location and, like, a thousand variables, there is nothing useful to be gained from asking for a "good price" or the average price. You will simply have to do the work to get estimates from local vendors. If you can get two or even three estimates for each service you need, you will know what is reasonable for your location and that you aren't being ripped off.

Basically pay attention to the advice already given. Check the vendors listed here. If you find a venue that you really want, the price is going to be fixed. Maybe there are similar venues that you can get a better deal on. But use the initial figure to adjust your expectations -- or to set a new budget.
