What was it like at your last fitting? Was it tight then?

It could be water retention depending on your cycle. It's not entirely healthy to attempt to lose 10 lbs in a month. Has it always been this way?

Try adding strength training and HIIT (high intensity interval training) if you haven't already. Drink lots and lots of water, eat clean and cut out all sugar. (you find sugar in weird places, pasta sauce, salad dressing, etc). This always works for me to slim down quick! Good luck!

Ask them to let it out a bit. you can try to lose weight but its not a for sure thing. make your dress fit so you can be happy & comfortable at your wedding.

    Wear Spanx!

Also avoid carbs, starches and sugars until then.

Frandy I would first ask them to take it out so that you don't have the added pressure of dropping so much weight during such a stressful time. You'll be more comfortable and will know you'll fit rather than worrying about it the entire time. Good luck!

Definitely have the dress taken out now while there is still time. It is crazy to be stressing about this on top of everything else. Breathing is such a nice thing to be able to do. Some people lose weight when they're nervous, some people want to eat or automatically retain water instead, you never know. If you crash diet you could end up weak and dizzy. Be comfortable and happy!

I agree to ask them to let it out. Better to look good and be comfortable then trying to squeeze into something that clearly doesn't fit.

I agree with all the comments above. Also, do not drink any carbonated beverages. Add healthy oils and monounsaturated fats to every meal; two snacks a day with breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have found it was easier for me to do exercises with the goal of becoming more lean than those to 'lose weight'.

I'm glad you're getting it let out a little - you don't need the added stress of your dress possibly being too tight in addition to everything else!

Have them let it out a bit, but also drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. That will clear anything from your system and will help you drop weight quickly.

I vote for spanx and if you are retaining water, there are some safe water pills. maybe I'll need to look into those!

Frandy's have you tried boosting your metabolism by actually eating more meals throughout the day? clean foods of course. cut carbs at night and you're sure to lose weight. you really don't need carbs at night for energy...

There is a book called the 10 day smoothie by JJ Smith, I did it for just a week and the results were amazing. The smoothies were filling and healthy. You should check out the book and give it a try, best of all, I saw results in the first week! Good luck!
