Help! Need advice on body foundations

Nicole, on January 7, 2020 at 8:56 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 7
Hey all!
I am getting married this Saturday and my dress is strapless. I unfortunately am a huge klutz and ran into a wall while distracted at work and bumped my right shoulder pretty bad, resulting in a pretty gnarly bruise. 😩 This happened last week and the bruise is now a yellowish color. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with body foundation to cover it up that is long lasting?

I’ve never used body foundations or even self tanners before so I am pretty lost on the subject.
Thanks so much in advance! 💗

Since your bruise is a yellowish color, you would use a lavender color corrector to neutralize it and then you can gradually apply foundation in a dabbing manner to cover the bruised area. Speak with your makeup artist about doing it for you because they will know how to color correct.

I have a huge shoulder tattoo (shoulder to shoulder) and covered it up for my friend’s wedding by going to Ulta that morning and letting them do the cover up for me. This was a few years ago. Maybe your makeup artist can help? Maybe call ulta and see if they can help? If anything they can help test coverups in store with you, to be sure you get the right kind.

Do you have a makeup artist coming? They should be able to cover it for you.

I've heard great things about Kim Kardashian's body makeup line, from my friends that have some scarring. It's KKW I think, and I'm pretty sure it's available at Ulta?

Thank you! I knew about color correcting but wasn’t sure how to use it, lol. I will test that out today

Take some vitamin C pills! That will help the bruise go away faster Smiley smile I'm a make up novice or else I'd be of more help lol

Keep your mind to apply The corrector and then foundation gradually, a little at a time in like a dabbing/stippling style to build it up (not brushing it on in a thick layer)
