Help need ideas for bridemaids bouquet, peacock theme, cant afford flowers.

Erika, on July 10, 2012 at 1:02 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 38

Im having my weddong @ Beach Palace in Cancun Mexico. A bouquet cost $195 which i refuse to

pay. I was thinking of having them hold fans...maybe unbrellas. A peacock feather was an option, but can look sorta tacky. Anyone have any ideas or pics for bouquets and/or even reveption centerpiece? Thx

Www.weddingbouquets.com She is very affordable! I ordered a 13 pc set for $139 and they are silk flowers. They look great. Here is a pic of my bouquet, my MOH and BM bouquets also.

I was just in Michaels yesterday and they have really cute flowers and I noticed a lot of peackock feathers too. You can always get 50% off Michaels coupons and just buy a little at a time until you have everything you need. By the way, flowers don't have to be that expensive. The florist I went to is rated #1 in our city, and for 5 boutineers, my bouquet, 3 corsages, 2 bridesmaids bouquets and an extra bouquet that will double as the cake topper and the 'toss' bouqet, all for right under $300. It all depends on they type of flowers you want. You can get small simple bouquets and then go buy some peacock feathers to throw in.

I would DIY those bad boys lol Michaels is your best friend, the Dollar Store/Tree or even save-on-crafts.com. I got my centerpiece materials from save-on-crafts, and the flowers to make my bouquets from Michaels with two discount coupons and a local fall flowers sale.

@Jennifer those are so cute! We went with bloombridal.com for our bouquets. I got my bouquet (10" across) plus 4 BM bouquets (6" across) for about $300, shipped.

Thx guys. They dont allow outside vendors at the Beach Place in Cancun. I like the peacock fans but they look big and hot...not sure how that will look in beavh wedding. Im going for the brighter peavock look sumthin teal or ocean green. Its part of the Colin Cowie collection

Our wedding will be in the USA. It shouldn't be a problem for them to deliver to Mexico. Just keep in mind you need to order pretty early on and allow at least 2 weeks for shipping and customs.

ETA: Here is the full set together.
