HELP w/ IRON ONS

Lainna, on February 27, 2012 at 9:05 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 11

I have a question..

So I am going to make up shirts for my side of the bridal party and I went to Michael s, Walmart, and Party City looking for the iron ons and can not find them anywhere, so I decided to go on EBay and look, and they are pricing them at 4.95 for Bridesmaids and 5.95 for Maid of Honor.

Are they normally that expensive ? or should I continue my hunt elsewhere???

I just can;t wrap around spending $30 on rhinestone iron ons when the shirts themselves were only $3 a piece. They don't HAVE to be rhinestone, that is just pretty much all the is showing up on EBAY. I searched bridesmaids iron on's, about two pages showed up of rhinestones, should I re word the search? if so to what?

Um, I did Iron on Shirts for my girls and i paid 3.50 for the MOH and the Bridesmaids iron on's and 3 dollars for mine on E-bay.......i also spend 12 dollars on an iron on for my shirt, i figured by the time i spent the money on glue and a tool to place the rhinestones it would be just as cost effective to order them. I paid 2.50 per shirt at AC Moore, they turned out fantastically though! So worth the price!

Yes I saw your posting when you had finished them, and I also saw your iron on's on bridesmaids, and they are the cheapest ones on there, which I was kind of shocked since the font is more fancy then solid bridesmaids

Most of the iron on's like are about that price, so that's what you're going to pay, no matter where you go - craft shows, online, or in store. So if you've spent your time looking and think you've come across about the cheapeast that you've seen then just go for it. Unless you really want to take the time and do it yourself, one crystal at a time which would be about the only other way it could get any cheaper.

Yeah Ebay is strange like that...........Etsy would also be another good place to look. I looked there first but Ebay ended up being easier for me. I'm trying to think where else you could get iron on's. I didn't see a bride or bridesmaid one at AC Moore when i was there. You'll find what your looking for :-).

Try Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I saw the other day some for 3 dollars at Hobby Lobby.

I didn't want to spend the money on the rhinestones for shirts. So I decided to go with a stencil with a cool font, and some of that glitter fabric paint. You can make a TON of shirts with one of those big bottles of glitter fabric paint. The stencil you can use over and over. So, mostly it's the cost of shirts! Here's a couple I took a pic of. Just another option. =)

I got my iron ons from Ebay and they were like $ 4 a piece, the shirts were $ 2.50 at Michaels. Which is very cheap compared to buying them already made which will run you about $ 20 a shirt.

Hi ladies! I get my iron on rhinestones from www.crystalsrus.com. They sell cheap and quality rhinestones and crystals. Here is a design I made on my wedding glove.
