Weʻve changed venues, to a party boat...

So weʻre planning "In Sickness..." bags with motion sickness meds, chapstick, and advil with crackers

We are doing a small recipe book (dyi printable on pintrest) with 2 recipes one from each of us. We are including a bbq spice mix with a personalized label and the other is a lemon curd sandwich cookie so I'm making the cookies and including a mini jar of lemon curd with a personalized label. I'm probably going to tie the recipe book to a small burlap sack with the extras inside.

We have a few ideas for favors! Small jars of local honey, chocolates from a local chocolatier, s’mores baggies, or even just to go boxes so they can fill up on left over desserts 🙂

I’m having covid conscious favors. The wedding will be outdoors due to covid. I’m having paper fans since it will be in May. We also have writing pens that guests can take with them after signing the guest book that way they don’t have to share pens. And of course, each guest will get a 2 Oz bottle of hand sanitizer to use before dinner.

Our wedding favors were custom koozies I ordered from Etsy. We left them at the bar so that people can grab them and use them for their
Beer or soda. A lot of people uses koozies so we thought it would be good to have at the wedding and for guests to take home with them.

I agree with most folks that say something edible. Maybe having a table with baggies and sweets (candy, cookies, etc) where folks can choose their own to take home. Or something as simple as M&Ms or kisses on the tables works well too. Who doesn't love chocolate or sweets??? Smiley smile

We're doing custom cookies. Pittsburgh is famous for it's "cookie tables" so it's a nod to our hometown.

I’m doing wildflower seed packets, cheapest is like a dollar per person, and you can customize the packets with your name and date. Found some on amazon and Etsy.

We are skipping them. Often guests will leave them behind and they are an added and unnecessary expense. Wedding planner and YouTuber Jamie Wolfer recommends skipping favors.

I’m planning to DIY some coasters out of small tiles (bought from a hardware store) and square pieces of cork off Etsy. Should look something like this when they’re done (picture is from Pinterest). I think we might do belly bands instead of a stamp but I haven’t decided yet.Help!!! Wedding Favors??? Weʻre gonna be on a boat in the summer afternoon so weʻre thinking sunscreen, purell/wipes, "Boat hair donʻt care!" hair ties for the girls (windy), "In Sickness & In Health" packs of sea sickness meds, advil/alka seltzer, advil, and "Letʻs Get Ship-Faced" koozies
