Help with Backdrop colors

Monique, on February 9, 2023 at 5:51 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
I really need advice on the colors for my backdrop. My bridesmaids and MOH are wearing the dark green and the men are wearing navy blue suits with the dark green vest and bowtie. These are my colors. I only want 2 colors on the backdrop. Should I do the dark colors or the lighter colors? I'm wearing white and my fiance is wear black and white. I appreciate all positive ideas. Thank you Help with Backdrop colors 1Help with Backdrop colors 2

I'd go with a sort of medium/ light color that falls somewhere between the dark colors your bridal party will be wearing and the white in what you and your spouse-to-be will be wearing. That way everyone will stand out against it. If you want it to be in one of your wedding colors, I'd go with dusty blue so nobody will blend in with the backdrop. Grey would be another option if you want something more neutral. Just make sure to get it in a dark enough shade so it doesn't come out looking too close to white in pictures Smiley smile You can also get a glittery silver if you want it to have a similar glittery element as the inspiration picture.

Thank you, I was thinking of using the dusty blue and sage green or just an all gray with the color flowers around the crown.

I would definitely go with the lighter colors and then a darker accent. We have the same colors! My dress is emerald green and my fiance is wearing an emerald green vest with navy pants. We are eloping in July with two witnesses so very intimate. The only glitz and glamor will be my shoes, earrings, bracelet and purse, lol. Congratulations!

I’d stick to light colors so that your guests stand out from the backdrop. This will help with how the camera picks up the dark colors you’ve selected from attire
