Help with decision (invitations)

Sheila, on June 13, 2019 at 1:08 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 31
Hi!
I want to send a nice invitation for our August wedding. My colors will be vibrant and happy fuschia and some orange for flowers. And I don’t want pastels colors. I need your help deciding. I found these two. I’m not good at these decisions😓😓😓 are invitations with flowers tacky? Help please!

They're both really pretty! I think the second one especially would be good for a summer wedding.

I like the first one better but I must say the second is very colorful and i like that too. I don't think flowers on invites are tacky at all

I prefer the first one, but they're both good options! I think the first one looks more like a wedding invitation, and the second one kind of looks like a birthday party invitation. I have flowers on my invitations... not tacky at all!

Thank you so much! I was not sure about the flowers design. I usually see very light colors invitations but I want something different. And it’s going to be a very small party of 15 people. Another question: I see that if I order these completely rectangular, they are ready the same day. And they offer more shapes but it takes around 10 days! So, are rectangular not delicate enough? Just want to know because I want to send them soon🌷

I like the first one better, it’s more elegant & looks “cleaner”. I personally don’t like flowers on anything besides in the nature lol, but the first invite definitely doesn’t look tacky!

Both are pretty! I think the first one is more formal and the second more casual. I'd go with whichever atmosphere you're trying to create for your day!

I love them both! Flowers aren't exactly my type for invitations or anything, but that is my personal take. If I had to choose, I like the first, but the second is much more summery because of the colors. The first seems a bit more springy.

Thank you ! And if I incorporate some orange in addition to the fuschia to my wedding cake for example and center tables, this first one will still look ok? Or we should match the colors of the invitations with the reception decoration?

If your wedding will be a more formal type of event I’d say go with #1. #1 looks a little more elegant. If it’s a more casual event then I’d say #2. #2 looks a little more playful to me. They both are pretty and floral invitations are not tacky.

I think it's totally fine to only have one wedding color on the invite even if you're having multiple! My invitations have light pink and medium pink roses with greenery and gold geometric shapes. My wedding colors are pink, navy, rose gold, gold and silver so I didn't have all of my colors on the invitations either. Smiley smile
