Help with hair

on August 14, 2019 at 11:06 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 5
So I gave very fine hair and it doesn't grow fast at all. I purchased real hair extensions from my regular hair lady. I have another lady doing my girls and my hair on my wedding day. I had my hair trial on Monday. We can't seem to get the volume and areas of my scalp is showing through. I really liked the back but hate the front. It took about an hour and a half but the top had gone flat within two hours. I have been communicating with my regular hair stylist and the hair stylist that will be doing my hair on the wedding day. My stylist thinks I can get the style I want the wedding girl.doesnt agree. Unfortunately I have already paid for hair and make up. It was with a company that subcontracted out. My hair stylist isn't available for the wedding so that is not an option. Anyone ever in this situation? We dont have time for another trial. I just want stuff to start going smoothly. Should I change the look to down? I just don't know what to do. My hair does flat and doesn't even hold a curl. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think the hairstyle is beautiful but I can see what you mean about the scalp. I don't think I would have noticed if you didn't mention it though! Personally, I don't think it's worth being worried about it on your wedding day if it's something that bothers you. You don't want to be thinking about it all day! Since you can't do another trial and the hairstylist has already said she can't make it different for the wedding day I would probably just wear it down with a nice hair accessory!

I just feel like the front looks flat and stringy and doesn't go with hair in the back. My heart is set on up an updo. Plus I dont think my hair would hold a down style. The hair piece in the picture is my actual hair piece. Thank you for your suggestion

I think it looks super good. I think most updos eventually go flat. I got thick hair and it never stays up. I like the front of your hair style because it frames your face very nicely

I think it looks VERY beautiful and like Anna said I didn't notice the scalp part until you said something. How do you feel about it being flat in the front? If you want this hairstyle maybe ask how it could be done with your type of hair? For example, both hairstylists might say tease the under part of the bump or use different hairspray or maybe using more pins or something? Maybe getting specific with your hairstylist that says you can have what you want and see if the one doing your hair on the wedding day can do that? If not you can go with your hair down and a beautiful hair accessory. I hope this helps and good luck!

I have this same problem with my scalp showing - What works for me is filling in that area with an eyeshadow that matches very closely - I've been doing it for years! I have darker blonde hair than you, so it might be hard to find something that matches. They also sell special tinted sprays for this exact problem - I would look around online. Good luck!
