Help with teal color scheme!

A few options would be grey, a cream color, purple or coral.

My colors are two shades of teal with white. I may throw in a few purple flowers, but I'm doing white tablecloths with a teal overlay, light and dark teal vases with white flowers, teal frosting on the cupcakes, etc. My dress is ivory with teal embroidery.

You could go in several different directions. I love bright, contrasting colors so we're doing turquoise accented with magenta, orange, yellow, a little bit of purple

Lots of colors work well with teal. What sort of mood/atmosphere are you going for?

My friend used peacock feathers as her inspiration (and included them in her centerpieces) she had teal, deep purple and emerald greens.

If you want a softer romantic look you could do smaller pops of teal with blush and ivory.

Teal would also look nice with navy blue and a metallic like gold or silver.

It's not my taste but, if you want to do something vibrant and really eye catching you can pair it with bright colors like coral or a deep orange.

We are doing teal as well. Our color is Seaside from Weddington Way. We are putting white and a light gold with it!

Can you post a sample of the shade of teal you are using? There are at least 40 colors that are called teal- all the way from bright turquoise to a deep blue green.

With teal being a pretty dominant color, id stick to a soft neutral.

The trick with real is in the shades you chose rather than the actual color. Depending on the vibe you want, different shades can work well. I'd suggest picking up a paint chip that is close to the real you want and play around with other colors and shades to find something you like. Just remember that when you figure out things in event planning world you'll find colors like burgundy, navy, silver, or coral; not French Hillside Wine, Deep South Sea Blue, Shimmering Flying Dove, or Tahitian Sunset on a Tuesday in August. Now I have a serious question; who has the job picking paint color names? What sort of education do you need? And where do i apply?
