Help with toasts please!!!

How do toasts work? If the maid of honor and best man are doing toasts midway through dinner, would they just go one after another and ask everyone to raise a glass for each toast? Do you have your DJ introduce the person giving the toast?

    I introduced them but you could have a DJ do it also.

    We had our DJ do introductions to keep everything smooth and we did them one after another.

    We will be doing ours during dinner, I was planning on having them just stand up with the mic and introduce themselves! But we could also have our MC introduce them. I think it will be fine either way

    Either way is honestly fine! We're not having an actual DJ, so we will probably just have the best man have the mic handy to starts toasts midway through dinner.

    We had 7 toasts. Two were planned, five were people just grabbing the mic after each other. They were all short so no one really cared, but if you want a more formal vibe, you could have the DJ announce it. I think when our guests saw my best friend starting, they didn’t realize it was planned and thought it was a free for all.
