Help!

We have a groomsman who doesn't want to wear a tie. This is what the ladies are wearing. What do you think of black pants with a black shirt? I'm afraid it will be to casual.

Honestly I would just have him wear the tie. He can take it off for the reception, so it’s not like he’s actually going to wear it that long. I agree with you that it would probably be too casual for the look you’re going for without a tie.

I feel the same way. He'll only have to have it on for 30 minutes tops. He's a great guy and I can't believe he's being so stubborn about it.

This is you and your fiance's wedding. If you both want the guys to wear ties then I think he can suck it up and wear a tie until after the ceramony and formal pictures are taken.

Lol! Whatever the 2 of you decide on is what matters. The groomsman in question will comply.

I hope so. So far he's flat out refusing. It's the only thing stressing me out.

    Okay, tell him it’s 👔or he’s a guest.

I had to have that conversation with a former Bridesmaid.

I tried to be nice, but she was under the severely misguided impression that she was going to do what she wanted to do.

So, I finally had to have the “You can wear that 👗, but it’ll be as a guest” conversation.

Then, she got too “busy” to pick a dress even though she’s had 2 years to do so.

I failed to mention that she had VOLUNTEERED to be in my Wedding Party.

She didn’t pick a 👗by the deadline that I provided and then stopped speaking to me.

So, she’s not in the Wedding and was not invited.

It’s YOUR Wedding, so he can suck it up and where a Tie for a few minutes out if his lifetime.

That’s a really small detail to enhance someone’s Wedding vision.

Maybe he can’t afford to either get the Tie or doesn’t want to spend the 💵 on something that he doesn’t really wear.

We ordered $5 Ties for all the guys participating in the Wedding.

Tell him to wear the damn tie. it’ll be for a short bit. he can wear it and then take it off at the reception. or if he refuses then he can be demoted to guest.
