Congratulations on your engagement!! Have you gotten started on wedding planning yet? If not, the first thing I would recommend is to sit down with your partner and talk about budget, estimated guest count, date/location for the wedding, and what each of your visions are for the wedding. Once you've done that, move on to booking the biggest pieces next: look for venues within your budget that can hold at least the number of guests you plan to invite, and schedule some venue tours. Once you lock in your venue, then start looking for any vendors you want (photographer, DJ, florist, etc). Once you've got those booked, start looking at attire, Save The Dates, invitations, wedding party, engagement photos, decor, etc. WeddingWire has a checklist you can use to help keep your planning on track, and these forums are also a great resource for asking questions or even just sharing your progress. The next big thing to look for is the venue, since that will solidify your date and might affect what other vendors you can use.
