Hem tape for bridesmaid dresses?

Has anyone used hem tape for bridesmaid dresses.. any recommendations?? TIA

Depends on the fabric. An organza might be too thin for hem tape....meaning the fabric would take on a "glue" look to it and have a strip at the bottom. Especially if over pressed. Even a thick fabric can take on this look.. I'd be very gentle with the iron.

I'd worry about the hem tape showing through. If it's just a hem, head to the dry cleaners. They can usually hem a dress in a few days for relatively cheap!
