Hi 2023 brides!!

My wedding is Jan 2023. I’ve been trying on dresses and plan to try to get one within the next couple of months and same thing with my venue but don’t really plan the other vendors until about a year from my date. So Jan of 2022 I’ll start looking into that. Congrats on your engagement!!! 😁😁

9-3-23 is our date, we had to move it because finding a venue for 2022 was a nightmare so I firmly believe it's never too late. We're checking out venues and caterers as well...

So our preferred date Is September 9, 2023 lucky the venues we have looked into have that date open. 😊 super excited first wedding in the family in a while and from friends we have 200 guest and family coming from out of state 😊

I already asked my Bridesmaids to be part of my wedding and so did my fiance with his groomsmen. We both wanted to make sure those were set along with our venue.

We are getting married 8/18/23. We are having a church wedding and are looking at possible reception venues. I had initially wanted a rustic country wedding and had found a location that could do the wedding and reception in one place for a very good price. However, he wants a church wedding. I have reached out to some photographers and have narrowed down our choices to 2 photographers. One photographer offers videography as well, while the other doesn't. We have already planned our menu, as it is a Friday morning wedding. Already have the cake decorator. We have already asked the people who will be in our wedding party, which is very small. We have already picked out our colors. I have already bought some things for the wedding as I see them in stores. Congrats!!!!

We are getting married June 2023. The venue has been booked and luckily includes a lot of things within the price. Glad we didn’t wait to get the venue because they are booking up fast for 2023 already.

Mine is 10/13/23 I picked this 1. For the Friday the 13th in the fall. 2. Because I was going to be in grad school so I had time to finish and plan. 3. So that we had been together four years then engaged four years. 4. Also 10 +13 =23.

My SO and I are getting married in May ‘23. We’ve started consultations with our wedding planner already, and secured a venue, purely just because when we’ve asked about next year, the backlog from Covid cancellations has meant that things are getting booked up further in advance than we’d expected. We’re happy with waiting just under 2 years, and like you, I’m glad to have the time to plan! I’m not going to stress over attire until 12 months out because I don’t want to buy something now and fall out of love with it last minute.

We got engaged 12/20 and arent getting married until September 2023! I looked at wedding dresses online for about a month, didn't like anything for me, and then i finally found one. I went to try it on and LOVED it but i didn't buy it til may. I looked at other options so i wouldn't regret buying early. We booked our venues in may as well because a lot of weddings are being pushed back and dates are going to fill up fast. We just booked our photographer last month because we attended another wedding and their photographer offered us a great deal! I have my bridesmaids because they're my sisters and a life long friend so i dont feel like its too early to ask. we also got our rings. We have an estimate on how many people will attend. We wanted to get the bigger costs planned out fist that way we know what we have to spend on the things that arent as important and we can save up for extra things if we wanted! My venue caters for us and they pair up with a DJ. im going to contact a videographer next year because they dont book out this far. We are planning our engagement pictures for next summer, havent even thought about save the dates. My mom does wedding decor so i dont have to worry about any of that. We are also using someone very close to us to officiate our wedding. I try not planning but i get so excited realizing im the bride this time! Happy planning to everyone!

October 13, 2023. A gothic pagan wedding on wooded land. My parents have offered up their land for our wedding venue. I'm so excited. Already have the officient and venue squared away. I am making my dress and the sketches are going well. We are still deciding whether to buy or make Elisabeth's dress though.

My fiancé and I are getting married June 2 of 2023! We book our venue and we can’t wait! We’re getting married at a castle! Athena grounds are so pretty with the original greenery, flowers and a nice courtyard for our guests to hang out during cocktail hour.

We got engaged in July and are about to book our venue for the weekend after Labor Day 2023. It is on Cape Cod (3-6 hour drive for most guests) and as I started to look at venues and vendors they were mostly booked for 2022 and we didn’t want to compromise on our mid-September timing so we are doing 2023 instead.


We contracted with our wedding planner this week and toured a venue we love yesterday. I already have a photographer, and my hairdresser’s availability actually influenced our date considerably. I’m hoping to get our key vendors booked in the next few weeks so we can secure those that we want and then just relax.

My wedding is 8/12/23!! We booked our venue last month, bought my dress, choose our colors, ordered sample invites, interviewing DJ’s and first tasting appointment with one of the 3 caterers next week. The most I’m worried finding is hair/makeup & florists at a decent price. Some places I’ve seen are incredibly high rates! I’m also trying to put together the pieces of my wedding vision.

We discussed that finishing school was important. He will have earned his degree in December and I earned my last fall. However one of my last classes was an event planning class so I choose my project to be for our wedding. We have our photographer, venue, guest list, wedding rings (though I have never seen mine yet), and my wedding dress. Our date is set for the 21st of January in 2023. A few years ago when we were discussing marriage the ideas I wanted are so different from what I want now. There has been a good amount of compromise, I wanted a bridal party he did not so instead we are going to have more pictures. Our venue Ironworks Hotel in Beloit includes a lot of things for the price.

June 2023!!! We are looking at venues and have settled on one. We are having the ceremony and reception there and may use them for photos/video and DJ too.

I am giving myself until June 2022 to buy a dress, but I'm going to start trying them on in the next few months. We booked our planner and venue and I plan on selecting everything and planning as soon as I can so it can all be done and I can relax leading up to the wedding.

We definitely don't do anything traditional. Two years I showed him a picture of the venue I found to start getting ideas and figure out a budget. We planned a trip to go see it. He informed his family in front of me that he purchased an engagement ring. Our date is set for January 2023, we have our photographer, my dress, his wedding band, and are looking at DJs. Technically he has not proposed yet, but on Christmas, with or without the ring we decided to tell our families.

Getting Married March 27, 2023 in Orlando FL at Paradise Cove! Booked the venue and the package comes with all the vendors so we are booked! Time for detail planning now!

I've tried to look at venues near me but they keep telling me it's too soon for them. They book a year out, that's all. Dress, I'm trying to get rod of all my weight I've gained the past 4 years.

From when he proposed to when we say I do, it will be exactly 2 years. 💜💜
