Hi 👋 I'm Kat my fiancé and I have been together for 6 years abd decided to get married, we both knew we wanted a Halloween wedding but we decided not to wait for 4 years more due to my grandfather having dementia so we decided we would do it this year 2022 with that being said we are PROUD to say October 22,2022 ❤️ is our wedding day 💍👰🏻🤵🏼 we have almost all done still need to buy his ring pay for the food and drinks and I think that is it. I hope you October brides 👰‍♀ and grooms 🤵🏼 are excited 😊

Yes I work with this illness and then some so I k ow how it is very important. Because 1min and are there and the next not its cause sundowning. So you can look on Amazon they have some cool looking pockets watches for the FIL and groomsmen and you can get them engraved and as for a nice neckless locket. Neither of our parents are wearing jewelry because they have gotten jewelry in the passed and doesn't wear all of it. Just 1 piece a necklace so I have to keep looking for something nice and meaningful. I hope that this helps

And still alots to do from still paying the photographers too my bakery has been leaving early then was out sick. So playing cat and mouse but I will have it done as god as my witness lol plus locking down our dj and my FH and groom and groomsmen are procrastinating on these tuxedos and his is a custom made now if he doesn't get it done he has to choose something else. WOW! You got this! And I know right?! I love to plan ahead so I thought I'd be all done by now. I still need to do all my signage, do my final walkthrough, final meetings with vendors, get my dress, and a bunch of other stuff. I don't have my dress yet because it's being custom made in the NYC garment district and they don't make things too far in advance. My friend is managing the relationship with the maker though since he's the designer so I'm in good hands. Still stressful though!

And trying to also lock down 2 hotels options and and my 2 maids of honors are almost done with booking my bridal shower and bachelorette party weekend all in September. October 29th! Our original date was October 9th of last year, but we decided to postpone prior to vaccines getting rolled out since we weren't sure how things would go (go figure, vaccines were out by then AND the weather was perfect on that day 🙄). But I think we're in a way better place financially now, so in the end it all worked out

This gave us alittle more time to fix our financial situation is better and and alittle stressful. Because in the at the end of the new year I got injured and I was panicing abit of was I going to have money coming to plan our wedding but it's almost done a few more things to do. And yes I do understand about this whole vaccines and how ppl would react to too. We are are so blessed that finally we can keep celebrating these special moments with our family and friends. Hi, I'm Melissa. Our wedding is October 30th. We both love Halloween and fall, so we wanted to get as close to it as possible, while still being on a weekend. Also, Sundays are a lot less expensive than Saturdays! I hope everyone has the wedding of their dreams.

Our date was chosen because my birthday is in October 15th and his birthday is in November 13th and so i tried to pick a date that was right in the middle. We wont be able to have a blow out 50th individually so I say what a great way then celebrate bigger with our wedding day as well with all our family and friends. We are not all into Halloween like we used to be when our kids were growing up. Do you have alot still to do? We still have groomsmen tuxedos booking our DJ will book our hotel in September and our bestman is supposed to be doing the transportation. Thank you so much for sharing your wedding date with us. Hi, I’m Julija. Our wedding date is Sunday, October 1st, 2033. My fiancé and I dated for 7 years before we got engaged. He started courting me in October which is why we chose the 1st. By the time we tie the knot we will be closing in on 9 years together. I thought about waiting till we hit our decade, but he vetoed that hard lol.

View Quoted Comment Thank you, Monique! I can’t tell you how many people have made fun of my Baltic name. I personally like long engagements. Originally I wanted to have a 5 year engagement to save money for the wedding as I knew my parents wouldn’t pay for everything I wanted and I wasn’t going to sacrifice my vision just to get money from my future in-laws as well as ideally live together before hand to get ya feel for how we mesh as seeing each other often vs living together are 2 different animals. He on the other hand wanted an under 1 year engagement as living together before marriage is a big no-no in his family. We thus compromised at a 26 month engagement period to focus on getting our finances right.


To be honest I really wanted to have a date more like yours, our favorite holiday is Halloween, but both sets of parents vetoed that. Are you planning on having 3 cakes for the joint celebration, or just 3 different tiers to represent each event, or something else?
