Hidden Mickey Ideas??

Mrs Slover, on December 18, 2013 at 2:08 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 29

I am a HUGE Disney fan and want to incorporate a few fun hidden mickeys throughout the wedding. I like the sticker on the bottom of my shoe idea..but am at a loss for more ideas. I don't want it to look tacky but want to incorporate it. My dress is a Disney dress- I just had to have it Smiley smile.

OMG, I love it! I am a huge Disney fan too. There is a book on Disney's hidden secrets that details where there are hidden Mickeys at the parks (I have it) -- I wonder if that could provide you some ideas?

    Maybe something on your cake?

I agree something in your cake, or you could get something small to stick out of center pieces, or have a mickey charm wrapped around your bouquet.

Maybe you could arrange candles with one big one in the middle and the 2 smaller ones for the ears.

Omg omg omg, I love this. We had our first date at DL, got engaged at DW and are doing a Disney Cruise for our honeymoon. I

We go to DL all the time (including tomorrow). Must incorporate this.

Maybe the plate trick from haunted mansion - one place setting has 2 bread plates to create a hidden Mickey.,,

Just thought of something else - it wouldn't be hidden - but what about instead of table numbers use things like the sections of the park (and i am drawing a complete blank of examples here...)

Also, what about doing a signature cocktail with the Disney theme - maybe name them a Disney related name but not something so obvious like Mike or Minney - but something like a Mary Poppins?

    Love the glitter idea!

Also, you could incorporate the shape it into your centerpiece. You could also stick a small Mickey item in your bouquet.

Like, this hand if it wasn't so huge: http://cdn1-blog.hwtm.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/mickey-mouse-birthday.jpg

Here's my dress. I just got my shoes in the mail, so I'll have to take a picture of them on because they look perfect with the dress!

I did a Disney dress too (A Belle dress by Alfred Angelo). Sammy, we are going to Disney World for our honeymoon too (I signed up for the Disney honeymoon registry). Pezzy, I will be interested in hearing about the cruise after you get home from your honeymoon.

I saw one where there was a little tiny mickey crawling out from under the cake. If you are doing a garter you could do a mickey mouse garter.

How about using a Disney coffee table book for your guest book. Find one with a lot of pictures and have guests sign the book with sharpies!
