Hiding Bride at Indoor Ceremony

Niki, on March 17, 2018 at 11:14 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
So my fiancé and I are getting married at a country club indoors. It’s beautiful, high vaulted ceilings with a fireplace. The only issue is... the entrance to the room is on the right side of the room in the back. I need ideas on how to keep myself “hidden” walking into the room before I stand at the end of the aisle and walk down the aisle. I am dead set on my fiancé not seeing me until I am actually walking down the aisle. Any ideas??

You can set up a temporary wall with old doors, potted plants, pipe and drape etc

someone could carry a large panel or door- you could be kind and make it out of styofoam so it's more lightweight

or you could walk in with a huge umbrella.

The door to our ceremony room was in the back side as well so he saw me as soon as I walked through the door. I went along the back row and came up the aisle. I loved it because it gave me a longer chance to look at him as we walked up to the front. If you are dead set on him not seeing you then you could look for some dressing screens to line the back right section of seating.

This may sound strange, since I don't know what kind of theme you have for your wedding or how many attendants you have, but what about having your bridesmaids gather around you can carry fans or something?

I had a similar issue. I just worked it out so that my groom was look at my MOH and she would cue him when he could look up and back at me. It worked out perfectly, minus the fact that my lousy photographer failed to get the "first look" photo which was the point of doing that.
