High or low centerpieces?

Rebecca, on December 9, 2018 at 8:05 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

Will your tall centerpieces take your reception tables to new heights? Or are short centerpieces more your style? Which centerpiece style are you choosing to take your reception decor to the next level?

We're going with lower centerpieces. Our venue is gorgeous on its own so we don't need over the top decor, plus we want guests to actually be able to see each other lol.

Our centerpieces will be low. I found that they're cheaper and I like the look better. Here's an indo pic

I like low ones better so everyone at the table can see each other and talk! We are getting married in a converted garden center and geeenhouse so our centerpieces are metal watering cans with flowers!

I prefer the low centerpieces. We are going with low because our venue is already gorgeous as is, so keeping centerpieces very simple. The tall ones are beautiful though!

Low. Similar to other people, I'm in a beautiful venue, or at least visually interesting (a new contemporary art gallery). I dont need a lot on the tables to add room decor.

We’re doing a combination of both because I like the items I got but some are smaller so I’m using a few tall ones to break up the eyeline a bit

I am going for low centerpieces. I am not a fan of the high ones and want my guests to be able to talk across the table without having anything in their way

We're going with low centerpieces. The tall centerpieces are beautiful but I would like my guests to be able to chat without a centerpiece in the way.

Low. I’m not putting in the effort but also I want to make sure guests can see and talk to each other

With the exception of the two "parent tables," we didn't even add centerpieces! Our venue supplied white rose arrangements and honestly, that was FINE! But our parent table arrangements were low. Every wedding I've been to with the tall arrangements just made conversation at the table completely awkward. No matter how slim the vase, you still have to lean one way or another to talk to the person across from you! Ha. They were definitely not worth the money in our opinion - gorgeous as they may be!

I like the mix of both! How did you two decide which tables put the taller ones and which tables to put the shorter ones?!

Lol! I have no idea. I was going to let the florist decide. I am thinking every other table. Smiley atonished

Our were low and flowy. That was my inso pic as well, but I went with more Dahlias than roses. Wish I had my pro pics back!

But here is a snap of one, shot from the top.
