Higher price range registry ideas

Abby, on July 12, 2019 at 1:43 PM Posted in Registry 0 23
Hey there fellow wedding planners! I was wondering what you guys were putting on your registry for your high priced items. My office told me they want to get a group gift together for my wedding gift and told me to try and add something high dollar so they can all get in on it. The only higher priced things I had on there was a cookware set, bedding set, and dish set, and those have been bought. Everything else is $60 and under.

I didn’t have any ideas, so I was curious to see if anyone had found any neat items from their own lists to share 😊

Do you need a nice vacuum? or a steamer? or maybe a wine fridge? Some kind of splurge you normally wouldn't buy yourself?

We have some really nice knives, a nice vacuum, a kitchen aid, some kitchen aid attachments, a set of good pots & pans, our dishes (we didn’t do fine china but it was nicer than my dollar store college plates!), also my fiancé thought a smokeless grill would be fun so that’s there too. The blender is about $100 I think, a 10 piece food storage set, a weighted blanket, and some snack tables.
I went through my BBB registry to find those lol. We do have a guest list of nearly 300 people and the items listed are roughly $75-$400

Dyson, Roomba (not sexy I know but really pricey). Instapot with accessories and cookbook. New fancy toaster oven or Dutch oven. I second the wine fridge and Kitchen Aid with accessories!

Roomba!! Or some other high-end vacuum, like a Dyson. I have one of those, it's really nice!! If you like to cook/bake, you could add a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. The InstaPot is really popular right now.

A lot depends on how much cooking/baking you like to do. If you currently don't do much, but it's something you're interested in learning/trying, I would definitely put those things on the registry. Another good and kind of pricey item is a food processor.

We are asking for a carpet steamer / vacuum for our higher priced item. We have lived together for a year and a half so we have everything already. The only thing we are asking for is a new set of dishes, cookware, silverware, and cup towels. Those are just to upgrade to something new.

We have a Roomba on ours. A grill. And a new stainless steel trashcan and recycling can. And a Kegerator (fiance's idea, not mine LOL. Sadly, fiance's family said they are getting it for us *eye roll*). These are all expensive upgrade items for us (besides the kegerator, obviously).

EVERYONE needs an air fryer. Seriously. I am a huge advocate. If someone has one and doesn't use it, then they aren't being creative enough. I use it as much as I use my microwave, seriously. I get so jacked up about air fryers lol

We have a bedding set, a knife set, and dish set. All of these are upgrades for us. I like a lot of the suggestions above like a new vacuum or fancy kitchen gadgets that would upgrade your kitchen. We are also putting up experiences we would like to go on for our honeymoon.
