Hilarious RSVP

Beth, on June 8, 2012 at 9:43 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 14

Okay so one of my cousins returned the RSVP. Apparently he got confused when he filled it out...

The picture is hard to make out, but it essentially says this:

A 5 scribbled out, followed by 4.

Underneath it says... 2 kids, 2 children and 1 (scribble) toddler.

For the record, it is him, his wife and three children. lol

Sorry, I just had to share. Smiley smile

Have any of you gotten interesting, funny responses?

My mother was funny, I always have to rsvp for her. She thought she would be a big girl and do this one by herself. she checked:

    accept to wedding only

    accept to wedding and reception

    0 total guest attending

I figured she would leave off my stepdad, but I didn't think she would leave herself off too, lol.

so she is coming but not coming and my stepdad isn't walking me down the aisle either, lol.

She was so proud that she did it by herself too, lol

    Those are hilarious!

The best one we got was a note written on a piece of Cranium paper. "Sorry we lost the card but we're coming, can't wait!" lmao. What's happening in your house that you lose the RSVP card, keep the envelope, and the closest piece of paper at hand is from a Cranium game?

We also got an RSVP in our card box at the wedding, which I thought was pretty funny. Um, yeah, thanks for the heads up. lmao!

We did the whole, "We have reserved ____ seat in your honor" thing on our invites, but when not everyone who was invited could make it people have been scribbling out the number we put and writing the number coming. I'm like, hello- thats why you put their names on it. I liked the way one person did it and they wrote the number in the blank before "accepts"

Oh wow, funny stuff guys!! Smiley smile People always have such a sense of humor (or sometimes they don't try at all ^_^)!

My one cousin was not so much funny as thoughtful. Under number attending she wrote everyone's names. When she got to her children she wrote:

"William - He will eat with daddy. Ian - He brings his own food." lol William is 3 and Ian is .. under 1. Smiley smile

One of the best ones I got was from my parents. They sent in their RSVP and along with it came a note "P.S.-for the wedding ceremony can I get a good seat near the front. Love Daddy". It made me laugh since my parents are paying for the majority of the wedding, my dad is walking me down the aisle and will be sitting with my mom in the front pew of the church. But that is my dad for you.

How great-- a laugh just when you need it! My funniest R.S.V.P. was someone who used the 'M' that's supposed to start "Mr."/"Mrs."/"Ms." to write "M"yself and a friend. Couldn't figure out who on Earth it was from, so I showed it to my DJ, who had a great sense of humor and showed the RSVP at the reception and then played a song dedicated to the guest-- "Who can it be now?"

Tiffany - That's so cute. Smiley smile Sounds like something my dad would say.

Zoe - That's so funny! It has crossed my mind to put this RSVP up on a board and give him a prize for being so funny, but I might embarrass him. Smiley smile

I sent out 4 indivual invitations to 4 people living in one household, I got 1 RSVPS that had responded with 4 attending, another RSVP( from the same household) that had responded with 4 attending and yet another RSVP ( from the same household) responding 2 attending. So the 4 people that live in one household sent back 3 RSVP'S two responding for all 4 people and one responding back for 2 people. if that makes sense
