Hi, is anyone using or has used companies like Enjoy Flowers? For those who’ve never heard of them they provide fully arranged flower packages or loose flowers so you can DIY your floral arrangements. They literally send the flowers a few days before your wedding with care instructions. They come fully arranged so all you have to do is drop them in a pretty vase and you’re done! I was thinking about using them or a similar company to cut back on my floral costs (it’s about a third of what a florist would charge). Would love to hear your opinions/experiences. Thanks 😊

Hi Nichole! I thought about using silk flowers too, but I’ve always loved the smell of fresh flowers 😊 so I think this DIY company may be the best route for me.

Oh I’m so sorry Rebecca! Please meet with some other florists and look into the DIY company route as well, but definitely do not deal with that lazy, inconsiderate rude florists!! Good luck! Please let me know what you decide and how it goes 😊

That’s a great price Colleen! Side bar- I love Etsy! I got my engagement/house warming invites, my STDs and I’m getting my wedding invitations from a vendor on the site 😊

We’re in a similar boat Cassi. We live in NY and we’re getting married in GA. The local florists have been giving us really high quotes as well. I think that’s what led me to the DIY companies. Another bride told me to check out Publix (supermarket) as they do floral arrangements which I had no idea and she said it costs her around $500 which is great!

This is what I'm doing. I bought one for each of my bridesmaids and one for myself. It's much cheaper and I can keep It forever

I feel the same way about spending thousands on killing the flowers that will be tossed a day later. I also have a very specific vision for the flower arrangements, so it’s hard to find anything pre-made.
Do you mind sharing the brands you found on Amazon that look the most real in your opinion? I’m also looking on Amazon & was mainly focusing on real touch flowers (which are made of some kind of foam).

I was looking at the real touch as well, but there are so many unhappy reviews I decided to look at other things.

    These are the velvet roses:

I'm also using these royal purple faux lavender stems:

I'm still waiting for the flowers from Afloral. They will arrive later this week. I'm picking up the ones I ordered from Joann's this afternoon. I'll update you!

Thanks for sharing! Those velvet roses look so real in photos. I need white or blush colors, so I’ll keep looking for those on Amazon. And yes, please share an update after you get Afloral & Joann’s! Thank you!

Hey Colleen, could you share any real looking, high quality flowers you found on Etsy? My issue with Etsy is that not all sellers offer return, in case flowers don’t really look like in the photo, so a recommendation of something you’ve tried would be great!

It will probably depend more on how much other DIY stuff you are doing leading up to your day. If you have a lot of other DIYs that you will have to deal with leading up to the day its probably not worth the stress, but if you have minimal then I've heard good things about them!
