Hiring staff for diy wedding. Bartenders and bussers

Cassandra, on May 3, 2017 at 4:40 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 11

In the very early stages of wedding planning, looking for advice or personal referrals to bartenders and bussers for a wedding next fall in Chesterfield Missouri. We think we will have about 250 guests. We need help with (professional) bartending, opening beer and wine bottles, refilling ice and water pitchers, keeping an eye on trash and emptying trash cans, and helping with other little tasks throughout the reception. Looking to pay $20-$30 an hour plus tips depending on level of experience!

You could get this staff through your catering company.

Your caterer can probably help with this.

Your catering company should take care of all that.

That's the exact area I live in. Ask your catering company, as PP have said! Either they will have workers or can point you in the direction of companies that can supply you with them!

Come on PPs, that's naive optimism. OP, as I'm sure you're starting to realize when you come to a wedding forum looking for individual laborer references, without a caterer, having a wedding reception is stunningly complicated and difficult. Hire a caterer. Hire a bartender company. It will save you from the mess and stress of trying to figure out how to run a wedding business instead of just planning a wedding.

Your caterer should take care of this with a team that works together. Hiring 12 random people to do random things is chaos.

Please tell me you have a caterer. Please...
