Hives?

Cadence, on July 11, 2019 at 9:31 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 4

So... 37 days away! Yay!

I thought I was handling the stress pretty well. I'm a pretty chill person but it seems like it might be bubbling up under the surface. Because I keep breaking out in hives! Very itchy ones. It's getting pretty annoying.

Any stress relief ideas or other suggestions?

I recently had a breakout of hives, so I feel your pain. They were on my neck and people asked if they were hickies Smiley winking What really helped me was Benadryl every night before bed! The hives have cleared and itchiness is gone, too!

I get hives all the time because of stress, and super easily if its hot. August was a great time to choose my wedding date in the South, huh? The thing that works best for me is taking Tagamet and an allergy pill. I usually take Claritin I think. It definitely helps the itching and does seem to make them swell down in a fair amount of time. I would start taking them every day if you think you need to, especially as your wedding gets closer. I probably need to do the same soon, lol.

Hey Cadence! Congratulations on being so close to your wedding! How exciting!

If you are feeling a little overwhelmed with your wedding planning, perhaps it would benefit you to take a day or an evening off to do something you love. You could get your nails done, meet some friends for lunch, get a massage, do something that will take your mind off of your wedding for a couple of hours. Try to destress and enjoy yourself!

To anyone else with this problem: I tried Zyrtec and so far so good!
