hmu Trial - what would you do?

I love your 2nd trial! Your hair and eyeshadow looks great!

I'd go two because I like the hair better in two. The makeup in both is nice (number 1 did amazing on the eyes) but the hair is definitely better in 2

I absolutely love the hair and makeup in trial 1.

I'm a big makeup enthusiast/ past sephora employee who loves applying makeup on myself and others. my gut tells me that you should go with #2. The orange look you describe will be amplified outdoors in photos. When foundation oxidizes on the face, it is not a cute look and you would not be happy. I also really love the makeup look in general in look #2 and see what she was doing with the contour. It is flattering and looks great but a good artist will do it differently on your wedding day if you explain your concern.

I'm surprised you're not doing your makeup yourself based on how you described all that! Honestly I'd just tell your HMUA what you liked and what you didn't. Now isn't the time to sugar coat anything lol. I had to be upfront with my hair stylist and was pretty picky about the smaller details but I think they actually really appreciate that so that you're both happy with the end result! Just be really open with them, they get it believe me!

I like this suggestion! From the photos I think #1 looks great, as others have mentioned you want your hair tight in the beginning so that it will still look great as the curls fall a bit. With look #2 if your curls fell anymore it would be straight. Go with whomever your happiest with and ask for the changed you think you need!

I think I like the mix of 1's makeup with 2's hair! I see the predicament. I think the 2nd makeup look makes you look kind of exasperated. But I think you'll look gorgeous either way!

Go for the first one and specify loose curls.

I would go for another trial to the one you chose closer to the day of. Both of them look good but the color on your face doesn't match from the neck down so you can see the line of where they stopped. I prefer the first one honestly and don't think it looks oompa loompa and it photographs well but it's a little darker than you are.
