hmu Trial - what would you do?

I agree 100% with this. It photographs well. The tip about the hair being tight to begin with as it will relax. The second trial barely looks curled at all. The makeup in the first also photographs way better than the second trial. I do have to say it's not quite the right shade though. She needs to add a bit more lighter foundation in or highlight the face with a lighter concealer to even it out.

Personally I think #1 is amazing but maybe because that is exactly what I'm going for. You have to be happy with it. I will say I don't see what you seemed to for #1 but the cheeks on #2 look off to me. Either way I'm sure you'll be beautiful.

Oh, I can definitely change the look - just don't have the time to change to a different MUA. I don't have any more time or $$$ for another trial, deposit, etc.

I do know that they will fall - however, we had our engagement pictures that day and it didn't fall AT ALL. My hair doesn't really fall - because it's naturally got some curl to it and when it gets curled it holds on to it for the long haul. LOL

It definitely looked orange in person, so much so that I didn't even take an other pictures...but in terms of the photographing, it looked beautiful in our engagement shoot.

That is a really good point!! I am sure that we can make changes as the day goes by. I actually liked both vendors, but I thought that I vibed better with #1.

I completely agree that #1 killed the eyes and #2 slayed the hair. I need like the midway point between the two! Haha!

I think that's why I am nit picking - I am a makeup girl, I wear a full face 4/7 days of the week so I know what I like, what I want, etc. I feel like the airbrush was a better match, but I also think that if I can get #1 to adjust the foundation, or hell...even take my own! Maybe that would be a good compromise?!

I did honestly consider it, but I want to just be able to chill and not rush....and I can't be on time to save my life so I am leaving almost everything to the professionals so that I won't be late to my own wedding!!!

Yes, I totally agree about hair in general - I just know my hair and it doesn't fall. I still had those curls when I went to bed that night. LOL
I kind of wanted a looser curl/beachy wave look than actual CURLS, so I think maybe I just didn't translate that well to the first MUA.

I agree about the photographing too, and it actually looked amazing in our pictures from the photographer. I think just taking my own foundation, or trying something lighter may be the way to go.

The cheeks kind of look like a painted doll to me? Like it's up too high on my face for my face structure?

After wearing the #2 airbrushed makeup for the day, my entire face and neck has broken out in huge spots - I have at least 7 and I didn't use any new products except what she used that day.

I have decided to go with MUA #1 and have her do a lighter foundation (I may take my own), high light more, and do looser curls/more waves on my hair and I think that it will end up exactly like my vision!
