My husband and I love watching movies together, even though I ask him questions the entire time as if we're not both seeing the movie for the first time. On average, we watch 3-4 movies a week. Sometimes it's a throwback movie like Back to the Future that we watch on our couch and sometimes it's a new movie like Spider-Man: Far From Home that we'll go into the theatres to see. Either way, my husband and I bond through movies.
My husband's individual hobby is playing video games. He loves, loves, loves video games and I support his hobby by buying him new games every now and then and by giving him as must interrupted game time as I can.
My individual hobby is reading books. I love anything written by James Patterson and really enjoy immersing myself into his stories.
When we first started dating I'll admit that I thought my husband's hobby was a little immature but as time went on I learned that its one of the ways he stays connected with his life-long friends from back home.
Although my husband is not much of a book reader, he prefers articles that he finds on the internet, he has never judged my love for books.
On average, we each spend about 5 hours a week on our individual hobbies. Now that I'm actually writing that out it seems like so little time for something we both really love but hey, we have to work and have time for each other as well.
