Hobby lobby invites

Victoria, on July 1, 2016 at 5:25 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 11

I bought hobby lobby invites and my printer doesn't want to print them. I think the invite is to big. My question is what is the best printer to print them?

I did invites from Michael's and had them printed at Office Depot. I would go to a place like that because they have experience dealing with different paper sizes. It also is a little nicer quality.

@Nautibride did you use the paper included with the invites or from Office Depot?

I was reading inkjet but I don't want to spend 50 buck to throw down the drain. It would be worth it if they work for the invites response and thank you cards.

@Kiandra I bought an invitation kit that included the invitation and RSVP card with envelopes for both. It was a simple one with no design. It was very easy. They just measured the size of the invites and the weight of it and printed them.

ETA. We had 50 invites made and it only cost us $11 to have them printed.

It was $11 for the printing on both the invites and RSVP cards but again, I only had 50 invites at 25 pages on RSVPs printed (they were two to a sheet). You can look up prices online.

I also had bought my invites from Hobby Lobby. For some printers the paper is too thick. My printer refused to print it. Luckily FH has a more professional inkjet printer and it worked on his. However it also ruined 15 out of 50 invites because for some reason it wouldn't print in the same spot for all the invites. If I were to do it again, I would have just done them online and have them mailed to me. It's too much work and I got way too mad over them.
