Holiday Inn wants my credit card for a hotel block.

We have a courtesy block through Holiday Inn as well!

The only reason we had to give ours was for the extra half hour shuttle ride and if anything happens to the shuttle

That's pretty standard. No hotels near my venue offer a courtesy block so it was the only option that we ultimately decided against.

I have the option to use the courtesy block with the Holiday Inn and they also give us a free night at the hotel the night of the wedding. But they've been bothering me from February to do the courtesy block. Back off bitch - I got a year!

I think it depends upon the hotel.

She just wrote me back stating that while she assures me that I won't be charged for anything, I can sign the contract without putting down any credit card info. Yay! Thanks to everyone for your help!
