Holiday Traditions! 🎄🎀🎁

Last night, my husband and I began our annual tradition of watching Christmas movies during the week leading up to Christmas day! We watch between 1 to 3 movies each day, and usually have a specific order that we watch them in. We also sometimes swap out a movie or two for something new. We have a holiday drink we make each year to enjoy while watching the movies, along with some sweet snacks to pair with it.

What are all of your traditions with your partner for on and around the holidays? Do you cook a specific meal each year? Host a themed party with friends? Dress up in matching pajamas and listen to holiday music? Spend time with family?

We make Brandy Alexanders for our holiday beverage! The past two years, we've also made our own ice cream to put in them, as well as topping them with nutmeg. Even though it's a cold beverage, it tastes so festive. I love that you go to the Christkindlmarket as a tradition! Such a magical city for an engagement too. I've only been to that once when I was still living in the Chicago area, but it was super pretty. What do you cook for your traditional meal?

We always take a night to sit and watch the snow fall with the bubble lights going,snuggled up on the couch. No other lights on. Nothing else. Just us, and silence. The kids all in bed. We take the time to just be together. I love it. Then he plays christmas music non-stop all day every day
