Home or away?

We're getting married about 30 minutes from my hometown and two hours from my FW's family.

“Home”, sort of! We live in PA now but both grew up in NJ - we’re getting married in NJ!

We live in NJ now but we're getting married in upstate NY where I grew up and where my fiance lived for a bit; which is how we met.

We will be married within about an hour of home! I grew up in CT and he grew up in MA. We chose a venue in CT kinda at the halfway marker for both our families (even though him and I are both in MA now). The venue is also within like 20 minutes of the airport which is convenient.

We're getting married 15 minutes from where we currently live but that is across the country from both of our hometowns. We're the only people attending the wedding who won't need to travel!

Far from home for me!
I'm from Ohio and we live in Chicago. FH was raised in Northern NJ and we're getting married in Southern NJ where his family now lives.

We're getting married close to our home in Maryland, but FH is originally from Pennsylvania so it's technically a home wedding for me!

We are getting married 4 hours from my hometown and about an hour away from FH hometown but only 15 minutes from where we live now! So everyone will be traveling to our wedding, lol.

Away! We got married about 4 hours from home on the coast of CA. Our guests had to travel a minimum of 2.5 hours and some up to 7 hours to be there.

Home. We are getting married 10 minutes away from our current house.

We are trying to get married in our hometown so we save more money from not traveling to far away.

We're getting married 5 minutes from our house and our Photographer is our neighbor, so I'd say home field advantage is in play here!

Getting married in my hometown where we live. We considered a destination wedding but that would have cost our friends and family a bunch of money for travel and we didn’t like that

Did you two grow up close to where you live now?

We are getting married 5.5 hours from where we live and 4 hours from our home town. We really wanted a beautiful landscape so we chose to get married in Yosemite ♥️
