We're getting married 2 miles from our home and the reception will be an additional 3 to 5 miles from the ceremony.

We are getting married in our hometown of Philadelphia. The venue is actually a 5 minute drive from our house in Northeast Philly. Most of our guests are either from the area of know it pretty well.

I’m actually getting married in my hometown, my ceremony will be at the church I used to attend as a child. However, I’m traveling for my wedding because I currently live in NYC, 2K miles away from home. So it’s kind of an in-between... for half our guests, it is a destination wedding. We have people coming from 13 different states.

Yes, we are getting married in our hometown, even though we don't live there anymore! It's the place where we first fell in love, and it holds so many happy memories for both of us. We love our town, and when we got engaged, deciding where to get married was really a no-brainer. I'm just happy we were able to find a venue we could afford in our hometown. It makes the whole event that much more special. This is where it all started!!

We are actually getting married at the Tenaya Lodge which is about 2 miles from the south entrance. With elderly people coming I was hesitant having them stand for the ceremony. Plus we are having our dogs in the ceremony so this was the best option. But we are definately going to go into Yosemite for pictures!

The picture is from the terrace at the resort. As long as it’s safe to do so (no ice) we are going to have our ceremony here.

My FH lives in Calgary (Canada) and I live in southern California. We decided to host the wedding up in the mountains, about 1.5hrs from him. So he is definitely more local.

Neither of us were born here but I’ve lived here since I was 14 and my FH since he was 10 or 11. So I guess you could say it’s our hometown since we’ve lived most our adult life here 😇

My FH and I are originally from New Jersey but we live in Florida now so we are getting married about 1,000 miles away from our hometown.

We're getting married about 20minutes away from my hometown & where we currently live. It's about 45minutes to an hour away from FHs hometown.

    I love this photo!

We are planning on keeping it within our state, or possibly our neighboring state VA (granted MD is a lot smaller than some other states) so between 1-2 hour drive away for us and most guests.

P.S. I think the cute photo is in Baltimore not Hampstead, MD at the Baltimore Ravens Stadium!
