Thank you Rebecca! Most of my family is still in NJ, my dad and step mother are in NC. My FH'S family is in OR and down here in FL. We are hoping that our families will want to take the trip down here.

I thought it might be easier to have the wedding in NJ but decided against that almost instantly!

I guess we're getting married near our new home town. I grew up mostly in Philadelphia, while he's from South Orange, but we purchased our 1st home in Wenonah!

We’re getting married in my current hometown, Tahoma (west shore of Lake Tahoe, Ca), but neither he nor I technically grew up in it. My FH grew up really close though—about 30 minutes away in South Lake Tahoe. I’m from Orange County originally, roughly 8-9 hours away from Tahoma by car.

We're getting married right on my families land! There's a pond with a field that we're using for the ceremony and an additional field up our driveway for the reception! It's only 25 minutes from where my FH grew up.

We're getting married about an hour and a half from FH and my hometown, which is also about the same time from almost all of my family.

We are getting married in the general area of where I grew up. Lucky most of our family and friends are also near by. I grew up in Philadelphia and FH grew up in New Britain PA. We currently live in Elkins Park (right outside of Philadelphia) and are getting married at our church in Jenkintown PA.

We are getting married where we live now. Its about halfway between my fiancee's parents and a bit further for my family. But it is easier to plan right where we are and I love my church here where as the church I grew up in and always thought I would get married in wouldnt marry us anyway.

I'm from FL and my fiancé is from OR, but we'll be living in WI, so we're having it there! Makes our planning easier, plus that way our families can meet in the middle!

I’ll be getting married where I currently live. All of my guests will be traveling about 100 miles to me.

We live in the NYC area and we're having our wedding here. It's the most convenient place for most of our family since 90% of them live here. Even though some family members and friends want us to do a destination wedding. But I just feel they want an excuse to vacation smh.

The Lodge on Echo Lake is my venue! I was looking at a few different places in Indian Lake and just outside, but this was closest for family. FH's family has a camp in Big Moose right on big moose rd, so we go there for snowmobiling and a few times in the summer. Our latest thing has been camping on Raquette lake in the same. We've gone for the last few years, and plan on making that our tradition.

    Where abouts are you!?
