    We are not getting married in our hometown. We live in Northern Illinois, and we're actually eloping out at the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado!! Smiley smile

    Home, sorta. I grew up in Idaho, but moved to Florida 3 years ago and call Florida my home now. But I'm sorta treating the wedding as a destination wedding just because almost all of our relatives and most of out friends will be coming from out of state.

    We are from Pittsburgh, PA, but we are getting married in Jekyll Island, Georgia. I fell in love with the Historical District of Savannah a few years ago when I first visited for a conference. On our way back from Savannah this past summer, we were able to drive through the Golden Isles, and St. Simon's and Jekyll Island were absolutely stunning!

    I live 2 miles from where I grew up and he is about 20 minutes away from where he grew up. We are about to move into my hometown instead of living out in the country.

    Savannah is gorgeous!! My parents live about 20 mins away from it and I'm always taken back by it's beauty Smiley heart

    We're getting married where my parents live, which isn't where I grew up and isn't where we live now. So it's kind of a destination wedding (Austin, TX), but luckily I have friends and family who are there to help.
