Ugh, I am soooo annoyed right now. My wedding was 3 weeks ago and after a hellish wedding weekend with some very unworthy vendors, I've finally started reviewing the good, the bad and the atrocious. Well, our DJ was just awful. I'd NEVER want another bride to have my reception, Part 2, so I left a brutally honest review of Moon River Productions from Savannah GA. If they didn't want that to happen, they shouldn't have treated our wedding like garbage, right?

Apparently not. Wedding Wire allowed them dispute my entire review and pulled it completely without even asking me for any sort of validation! Who does that? Since when is it ok to be a terrible unprofessional business person and not have to deal with the backlash?!?

Beware ladies, there is no such thing as free speech on here. If you have a bad experience and want to warn others about it, odds are good that your review will get pulled without reason as well!

I agreed with Sara! Wedding Wire/Project Wedding cannot be trusted. I took a lot of time and wrote a long negative review of my photographer and Project Wedding (now owned by Wedding Wire) took it down. It did so without even sending me a notice or asking me to submit and verify anything! What a shame. There is now a class action suit against wedding wire. There is not point in wasting your time and posting up this review for other brides just to have it removed without any verification! Shame on you wedding wire!

I have to comment on this, I posted a HONEST review on a bridal boutique and WW took it down, I received the email that I needed to show proof that I actually bought my dress from there. I sent WW the cleared check that came straight from my bank and they still took my review down. I am so upset because this shop has raving reviews and the service was horrible not only for me but all of my bridesmaids!

OMG! same thing happened to me with my photographer, my wife made a website on ww and we posted our reviews for our photographer claudette montero or also known as allucinarte films she lives in orlando and i guess she does work for people in the carribean, Anyhow i wrote a review that stated why i was unhappy with the services provided and that her customer service was not up to par. She disputed it and also got my wifes profile taken down, I created a new one, because i deserve my word to be heard.

I agree - this continues to happen to us in writing honest reviews! It seems these websites (wedding wire, yelp, etc) are not a way to get your voice heard. It's just helping out businesses. It sucks that those who have been part of the wedding process and just want to warn people about their awful experience have to be silenced!

My review of my wedding venue was disputed and removed 4 years after my wedding! I received an email from wedding wire letting me know it would be temporarily removed pending investigation. I responded to the email, however I never heard back after that. My review was not reposted and the vendor has 5/5 stars. Wedding wire never asked for more information, they just took the vendor’s side and removed it.

I posted a review back in September of 2017. Emailed multiple times to get it reinstated because I have proof that I was a customer of a vendor and no one from this company has emailed me back. I do not trust a single review from this website because the bad reviews are removed and not reinstated. I will never use a vendor that is listed through wedding wire! So unprofessional to not only handle it they way they have, but to ignore me!

You are so absolutely right! I had a similar experience. I feel like wedding wire concerns more about the vendors than the clients. Totally feel your pain.
