First time poster long time reader. I have seen so many posts about honeymoon funds whether to do them or not (mostly not) and I see so many people get discouraged of doing them so I thought I would make a post saying that it is your choice and your wedding and you do you boo everyone is just giving their opinions and advice but please don't let anyone discourage you. I wanted to put a more positive light on it. Here is my poem that I am putting into my invitations Smiley smile

Wow it's nice to see that people are more open minded these days. We've given Honeyfund gifts to a lot of our friends because that's what they asked for. All of them spent a lot of money on their weddings and invited us to share in this special moment with them. The least we could do is give them something that they truly wanted.

It's such a shame to witness those who are "stuck in the past" and not willing to give up their traditions or "the way things have always been done." Thank God for innovative thinkers and those who are changing this world for the better.

Thanks for the great post Amber!

I totally agree!! My FH and I are putting something like this in our save the date invites and I think it's absolutely expectable!! My brother did the same thing with his but labeled his as a familymoon! Every couple is different. If you're going to be that much of a Karen and can't think about anyone else's feelings or views other than your own, I wouldn't want you at my wedding! Just sayin.... We're not in the middle ages anymore, who really follows "proper etiquette" when it comes to their wedding? I think it's adorable!! It's your day girl, you do what makes you happy!! Smiley winking
