Hi!
Anyone on here using/used Honeyfund on their registry. How does it work? How do you like it?

Yup! We made it our primary, then from there linked to two small retail registries (Macy’s and Bed Bath Beyond). Super easy for us and guests. Honeyfund charges a small fee if you want to transfer the funds to your bank account (but they don’t charge if guests write a check). Worth it. About 1/2 our guests who gave us gifts still brought cards/cash or a physical gift.

Thanks for the information. Is honeyfund good to help fund a honeymoon? If so, do you have to have a honeymoon destination set already?

Zola is also great with cash funds/ honey funds! We’re using that strictly for our cash fund registry and then linking a smaller traditional registry. With Zola you can choose to either charge the credit card fee to guests or charge it to yourself when you transfer it over to your bank account. With Zola you can also choose to do a mix of both cash funds (honeyfund) or traditional registry gifts all in one location.
But no, you don’t have to have a destination already picked out. It’s just a safe way for guests to give you money that can be transferred directly into your bank account.

You don’t have to have anything booked for your honeymoon, but you’ll want to know where you’re going before you set up your Honeyfund website so guests will know what they’re contributing to. Honeyfund has some pre-populated activities you can choose from, or you can create your own (like Breakfast in Bed = $50). The money won’t actually go to a 3rd party, you’ll transfer all the money to your bank account so you don’t need to worry if you decide to change one of your honeymoon activities.
