The Keys just reopened. You can fly or drive down there and there are beautiful small old fashioned towns to drive through on your way.

We're getting married in Islamorada the sport fishing capital of the world. Key Largo is the diving capital of the world and they are right by each other.

Charleston, SC? Quaint and lovely.

I would recommend Charleston or Savannah for closer options!

You could go coastal FL, stop in St Augustine - quaint, then head down further to each of the Keys and make it fun and adventurous. instead of a "cruise" - you're Cruising in a vehicle.

Amelia Island, FL. Savannah, GA. Charleston, SC. Asheville, NC.

All great places, with a lot to do, and probably a fairly quick drive from you!

You're welcome! I highly recommend Charleston, especially if you like history at all. It's such a rich town and really one of my favorite places ever. We were going for a week vacation there in April that we had to cancel because of COVID.

I forgot about Amelia Island! That was one of the trips I sold back when I was a travel agent.

I have mixed emotions about Savannah, it's a love it or not kind of town. But still beautiful.

July wedding, I would think a beach weekend. Or we’ll a cabin in the mountains is always one of my favorite choices. Sometimes I still just like the idea of going to a random new town and exploring.

What about renting a get-away cabin? This depends on if you both would enjoy it, but then you don't need to worry about being around too many people if you are concerned about that.
