Honeymoon Baby?

Susan, on October 13, 2018 at 6:52 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 34
Anyone planning to have a honeymoon baby? Or anyone out there pregnant with or already gave birth to a honeymoon baby?

We will be getting married on Oct. 27, 2018, and we are hoping to conceive while in The Bahamas! I know this is not for everyone. Lots of people say wait! We will both be pushing 30, so we are ready (Lord-willing).

Were hoping to have a wedding or honeymoon baby! Our date is June 14th, 2019! We'll only be 22, but I am a carrier of the BRCA1 breast cancer gene so sooner than later I gotta lose my ovaries... plus we are super excited to be parents! I've worked/lived in a daycare setting my entire life, so I'm definitely ready to have children of my own!

We leave for our honeymoon in three weeks and I would so love to conceive lol. But it’s not a good time for us. I feel like I’m too young (21, so possible, but still feels over my head) and we will be in a weird stage of life throughout 2019 as DH goes to pilot training and I move to Oklahoma with him. So probably not the best time to have a baby—I’ll need the help of my mom and MIL so I don’t want to be out of state!
Sorry, prob TMI. I just have so much baby fever 😍😂

Nah, we're planning to enjoy being married for a little while. I just turned 29 so I understand the ticking clock lol. I cooed over a baby instead of a puppy and knew my ovaries were turning up the heat. We'll probably try in about a year.

We are trying on the cycle just before our wedding, bc of my job (wedding photographer), I can only give birth January-March, so we only have 3 cycles to try a year! And our wedding is in April, so we’re starting a couple weeks early, so we get all the chances we can get! 🤞🤞🤞🤞 he’s 35 and I’ll be 30, so we gotta get this baby show on the road! 😂

No not TMI! I’m really detailed and love when others are that way too. I think it comes from being a teacher lol. At 21 I wanted kids early too. Never thought I’d be 28 before I started trying. But hey, we both have time. Good luck to y’all!

Yeah I know lots of things have to ‘’go right’’ for it to happen. Pretty low chance, but we shall see! And I agree; I’ve got time. People are having kids later and later now. It’ll happen when it’s supposed to!

We won't be trying on our honeymoon as we feel we are still young and want to enjoy our new lives as a married couple (I'll be 25 and he'll almost be 25). We'll wait a few years first, especially since we're still getting settled in a new state (we recently moved across the country where we have no family or friends). There are so many reasons to start early or to wait. Good luck to you both!

Everybody always says that, but one I explain why most understand. I have pcos and so getting pregnant won’t be easy for one. For two, most women in my family have to undergo hysterectomies in their early 40s due to uncontrollable period bleeding. As in it doesn’t stop. Odds are stacked against me.

Have you heard of the dissolvable powder called Premama? My neighbor was talking about it one day and it’s apparently really effective for conceiving if you have PCOS. Obviously I would research it and talk to your doctor, but it’s worth a look! Amazon has it and there are great reviews.

I wish! He really wants a baby but he got snipped when he was previously married and I went through 2 years of failed fertility treatments when I was previously married so the chances for us are basically zero. He wants to get reversed one day but I doubt that will happen. I have my 9 year old and am so thankful I at least have him and FH gets along really well with him.

Nope not for us! We want a few years to enjoy being married (and more selfish) before trying! I'll be 26 two weeks after the wedding and he'll be 28 so we feel there's plenty of time.

Yes!! We will be trying. We have received a lot of mixed feedback from people when they hear that so we like to just keep it to ourselves. We don't want the negativity haha. But we usually either get people so excited or people telling us we need to wait and experience married life. We have been together for 5 (living together for 4) we own a home, we are ready and excited so we want babies ASAP! Good luck to you guys!
