From everything I have heard, this depends on the embarkation port's rules and each cruise line's rules. You will need to check with your cruise line directly for the requirements that affect your specific cruise.

    Hi there!

I think it more so depends on the port locations. We are doing our honeymoon on St. Thomas ( 3 days) and St. Johns (7 days) in the US Virgin Islands and I know they only require a negative COVID test. I know St. Thomas is a MAJOR cruise port/ stop, so I though it was worth mentioning if your cruise happens to stop in St. Thomas. Smiley smile I feel that providing a negative COVID tests seems to be more common amongst reports from travelers.

Out of curiosity... where are you headed on your cruise?

I would call Carnival directly Smiley smile

    Goodluck!

Right now Carnival requires vaccines on 8 of their shops so, as PPs suggested, call cruise line directly. However, even if they don't require it, I just read how unvaccinated passengers are treated like "second-class" and limited to certain areas of the ship/restaurants and some excursions are restricted, too.

They didn't require it for ours although we're both vaccinated but they canceled ours last week. Is yours still sailing? If so, I'd be on the look out, just in case. We're so bummed because we were so excited and I heard Carnival is the best.

We are going on a Cruise with Carnival in October and we are not allowed to get on the boat without a mask unless we have a hard copy of being vaccinated 14 days before you sail if you choose not to get vaccinated you have to wear a mask the entire cruise.

Hi! They are requiring vaccinations. If you aren't vaccinated, they are requiring a negative COVID test, travelers insurance, charging an extra $150 per person for "health screenings" and there are a lot of restrictions in place. They have what is called "bubble tours" for unvaccinated guests, where on excursions, you can't leave the bus or go to different parts of the boat.

Yes I got an email explaining all of this a few days ago. Thank you! I wish this was told 6 months ago when we booked it.
