Alrighty ladies. I need help. My wedding is in 80 days and I haven't made honeymoon reservations yet. Where can we go? We would like somewhere tropical but also be able to enjoy other activities on the island like hiking and scuba diving. We need to renew our passports as well. I am stressing. Thoughts? We may not be able to travel outside of the country due to our work. So which islands/areas are under “American” law?

Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are probably your best options.

My fiancé and I are going to Rivera Maya in Mexico (basically Cancun) we are staying at a place called the Riu Palace for 5 nights and it’s all inclusive…super beautiful. Cost about $1600 and they have free transportation. You can also do a bundle deal on their website where your plane tickets can get added into that price. Pretty good deal. Took me awhile to find it!
